This workshop provides information-system professionals with an overview of the Object Management Group’s Model Driven Architecture (MDA). MDA is a complex, yet powerful approach to developing extensible and maintainable systems. This lecture-only course provides an introduction to the foundational techniques and technologies underlying MDA, including meta-modeling, UML profiles, and the Meta Object Facility.
