Creating & Validating XML

Goals

This workshop provides a working knowledge of XML and associated World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) standards.

After completing this seminar, participants will be able to:

  • Read XML documents
  • Create XML documents
  • Understand the basics of XSLT
  • Define allowed content of XML documents using DTDs
  • Use XHTML as an alternative to HTML
  • Define allowed content of XML documents using XML Schemas

Web developers and software developers who need to work with data in portable formats.
